The blurb for A Quiet Place () immediately made me think of the book The Silence () by Tim Lebbon (which I read last month). They're both about blind creatures that hunt by noise and a family who have a deaf kid so they are able to communicate using sign language.   Some Quiet Place is an extremely imaginative and original debut novel by author Kelsey Sutton. The story is shrouded in mystery and takes some dark and creepy turns, which all in all make for a very memorable read. The concept of this novel I just love it.
